A Short Trip to Taronga

We’ve been to Sydney’s  several times before but never had the chance to explore the city. So this is our first family trip to visit the big city and its surroundings.

Off we go!

We were heading to Sydney a bit late as Dzak was still sleeping early in the morning. So we left home after having a brunch at 10.30 am.

Five minutes later, Dzak was falling asleep (which was such a bless >:)).

This gave me enough time to do a quick journal editing on the go :D.

Our first stop – a rest area near Goulburn

After 2-hours of driving, we managed to stop at the rest area near Goulburn.

We finally arrived at our destination at 2.15 pm. So here we are,  welcomed warmly by the Darling Harbour.

The Giraffe encounter was basically the first place we visited after passing the main entrance. I was amazed to know that those animals were actually not that tall  (correction, that’s because we were looking from the first floor, so we were nearly as tall as those giraffes lol).

Dzak was having a great time seeing numerous animals for the first time. We introduced him various names of animals by pointing each of them with its unique name.

IMG_1335The little one loves to walk on his own, so we let him explore the place.  This was a good chance for him to learn through his senses.

10 pm – Last stop, ordered a cup of coffee and some light snacks on the way back to Canberra.  We finally arrived at 12 am. Alhamdulillah, thank you @nurulislah for driving us to Sydney and back home. Let’s do it again sometime soon, InshaaAllah :).
